Job Description

We are looking for a talented Sales and Marketing Manager to help us develop our business in Mainland China. The role will be set within a dynamic and fast-paced environment and focus on building business through identifying and securing new prospects and developing long-term partnerships with our clients. The successful candidate will be required to use their existing network within the wine and spirits industry, alongside their excellent selling, closing, negotiation, prospecting and communication skills, to deliver these outcomes.

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:

·       Create new business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position within the industry; researching and analyzing sales options

·       Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects; recommending solutions

·       Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements

·       Assist with developing, organising and implementing sales activities

·       Track and meet sales targets

·       Prepare reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information

·       Plan, manage and attend meetings, tastings and events across Mainland China

·       Identify product improvements or new products/pricing/merchandising techniques by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors

·       Lead external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials and online activities

·       Manage and monitor the Nimbility WeChat Channel

Essential Requirements:

·       Fluent in Mandarin and English

·       Proven track record of experience as a sales representative for a minimum of 2 years

·       Wine & spirits knowledge - WSET L2 preferable or equivalent

·       Proficiency in MS Office

·       Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets

·       Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

·       Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

·       Existing network in wine and spirit beverage industry in Mainland China essential

·       A self-starter, able to be left to own devices, make decisions and achieve results

·       Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

·       A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

·       Analytical skills

·       Frequent travel within China is required, up to 2 weeks a month
