ASC Fine Wines and Buglioni announces exclusive partnership in China

ASC Fine Wines, China’s leading fine wine importer and Buglioni, a stunning, family-owned Valpolicella wine estate announced today their strategic partnership for the China market (Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau).

Nearly three decades ago, the adventurous and forward-thinking Buglioni family stepped out of the fashion industry and purchased a vineyard in the heart of Valpolicella. They hired a young, passionate, local winemaker, Diego Bertoni, to run the estate and promote the traditional wine culture of this beautiful region.

This boutique winery grew rapidly, from its initial beginnings of 3.5 hectares to 55 hectares of vines today planted with the traditional indigenous varieties of the region and farmed 100% organically.

Mariano Buglioni, owner of the estate, is thrilled to be opening this new chapter in the China market with ASC.

“Passion and quality have been the drivers of Buglioni since we started this endeavour. Now we find ourselves partnering with the leading importer and marketer of wines in China. What finer way to demonstrate that all this time we have indeed been on the right track! We are immensely excited and optimistic about what the future holds and look forward very much to introducing Buglioni wines to Chinese wine lovers in this new collaboration with ASC,” stated Mr Buglioni.

Makoto Nagae, Chief Executive Officer of ASC Fine Wines commented:

“We are excited for our partnership with Buglioni that is founded on our mutual value for quality, shared passion and commitment for wine lovers in China.”

“I am absolutely excited for the new partnership with Bulglioni who is dedicated to grape growing, where the family chose to devote themselves to become one of the best wine growers in Valpolicella. Their strong passion leads Buglioni to produce distinctive and elegant wines. I am confident Buglioni’s beautifully crafted wines that represent a stylish, modern yet elegant, classical take on Amarone, will be a blessing to wine lovers in China and a bright new star shining in ASC’s ever-refining portfolio of quality wines,” expressed Mario Aron, Chief Operating Officer of ASC Fine Wines.
