Maison Mirabeau, the award-winning rosé brand from Provence, joined forces with the ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort to host the inaugural Pink Summer Event in Okinawa, marking a milestone for rosé activations within Japan’s luxury hospitality sector.
Located on the stunning Manza Cape, ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort is one of Okinawa’s premier luxury destinations. Surrounded by coral reefs and pristine beaches, the resort combines world-class hospitality with the island’s natural beauty, creating unforgettable experiences for leisure travelers from around the world.
The two-day celebration welcomed more than 200 guests, including media representatives, lifestyle influencers, and international visitors, for an immersive experience that beautifully combined the rosé culture of Provence with the breathtaking coastal setting of Okinawa.
The event opened with the Pink Sunset Party at the resort’s garden poolside, where over 80 guests enjoyed free-flowing Mirabeau wines—including La Folie, Classic Rosé, and Rosé Gin—accompanied by vibrant DJ sets from KIORA and a variety of food stands offering family-friendly options. The following evening, the celebrations moved to the resort’s private beach for the Pink Sunset Festival, which attracted more than 120 attendees. Guests enjoyed nearly 50 bottles of La Folie, 24 bottles of Classic Rosé, and 10 bottles of Rosé Gin, while live performances from UMA+MATCHA and Takuji (Emoh Les) set the tone for an unforgettable night that concluded with a fireworks finale over the ocean.
The success of the Pink Summer Event was reflected in its impact: more than 200 participants across both days, coverage from four media outlets, and the engagement of eight lifestyle influencers. Guests sampled over 140 bottles of Mirabeau rosé and gin, while the ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort celebrated its first large-scale lifestyle activation in 40 years. The event also marked the largest rosé brand activation of its kind in Japan, setting a new benchmark for the category.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Vincent Gadaud, F&B Director at ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort, remarked: “Teaming up with Mirabeau was a genuine pleasure. Their wines brought a taste of Provence that paired beautifully with our relaxed, vibrant spirit of Manza. These events were all about great food, great wine, and sharing memorable moments by the sea.”
General Manager Russell Sheppard echoed this sentiment, adding: “I was delighted to partner with sustainability leaders Mirabeau to bring the Provence experience to our world-class beaches and waters of Manza Beach. The two areas share so much in common and I believe our guests have enjoyed the experiences our two brands share.”
Founded in 2010 by Stephen and Jeany Cronk, Maison Mirabeau has grown to become one of the most respected rosé brands in the world. Known for its award-winning wines and commitment to sustainable practices, the brand is recognized globally for capturing the essence of the Provence lifestyle, and this event is likely to become a annual staple in Okinawa
